Life and health cash flow modelling software for actuaries
Orbit is freely available software for modelling traditional life insurance products such as term insurance and critical illness. Orbit is easy to use as only actuarial assumptions are entered, no programming is required. Features include:
- Goal seeking for premiums and commissions, by each age point if required
- Sensitivity tests are easily created
- Documentation facility producing a pdf file of cash flow results along with the assumptions used
- Lockable assumption tables to reduce the need for repeat checking of assumptions
- Importable standard mortality tables available from a central source
- Graphical results of cash flows
